Marriage Certificate

National ID Card (NID)

Status: Must be valid and not expired

If abroad, provide Passport instead

Passport Size Photographs

Quantity needed: 6-8 copies per person

Size: Standard 4x6 inches

Requirements: Recent, colored, white background

Both parties' photos required

Birth Certificate

Required copies: Original + 2 photocopies

From: BDR office or municipality

Details: Full birth registration certificate

Must show date of birth clearly

Address Proof

Accepted documents:

  • Utility bill (electricity, water, gas)
  • Rent agreement with landlord verification
  • Property ownership document
  • Bank statement with address

Must be recent (within 3 months)

Witness Documents (2 Witnesses Required)

For each witness:

  • NID or Passport copy (2 copies each)
  • Passport size photographs (2 copies)
  • Address proof

Witnesses must be 18+ and mentally sound

If Previously Married

If divorced: Divorce decree or court order (2 copies)

If widowed: Death certificate of spouse (2 copies)
